The Static Seekers: The second offering from North London noise punk iconoclasts, Casual Sect. The Static Seekers follows on from their debut release, ‘The Hidden Persuaders’ from 2016. Here we find the band back on familiar stomping ground. Big riffs, Big Muffs and big ideas on a small budget. High-falutin’-lo-fidelity sonic explorations. A cheekily twisted look into the murkier side of the modern information age, and it’s effects on mind, body and soul. Featuring songs about the time a Komodo dragon ate Sharon Stone’s husband, having a mohair fetish, not having synaesthesia and bad trips in graveyards.
